Acts 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

CONJUNCTION DENIERS
ReplyDeleteWho are the conjunction deniers? That would be those who deny that "and" is a conjunction.
What is a conjunction? A "conjunction" is used to connect grammatically coordinate words, phrases, or clauses. Example: 5 and 5 equal 10.
Denying that the word "and" is a conjunction in order to support a doctrinal position is either disingenuous, duplicitous, or a honest misunderstanding of the English language.
Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
To deny that and does not connect, has believed and has been baptized shall be saved, makes that person a CONJUNCTION DENIER.
Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
To deny that and does not connect repent and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, makes you a CONJUNCTION DENIER.
ONE THING IS CLEAR, IN ORDER TO BE SAVED, YOU NEED TO BELIEVE AND REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED IN WATER!
